Alan Titchmarsh People's Author Competition

The competition opened on 7 April 2009 on the Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV1 and will close at 5pm on 20 June 2009.

The People's Author

If anyone’s ever said – “there’s a book in you” – then this the perfect competition for you. The programme is looking for strong, real life inspirational stories that you would like to share with the British public. The winner will receive a publishing deal with an advance of twenty thousand pounds. All you have to do to enter is write in – telling them a bit about yourself, a few pages about your story, and submit no more than five thousand words detailing some of the fascinating events that you’ve experienced.
