New Writing Ventures 2007 is the third in the New Writing Partnership's annual series of awards.
Entries are only accepted from writers based in the UK.
If you are an ambitious, unpublished writer of Poetry, Fiction or Creative Non-fiction, it is worth giving this a go.
The closing date for entries is 31 May 2007.
There are three major awards for the winners in each category and six minor awards for the shortlisted writers.
Winners in each category receive £3,000 and a year of creative mentoring from The Literary Consultancy.
Two runners-up in each category each receive a £1,000 cash prize.
In addition, the three category winners will receive a place on a year-long Ventures Development Programme, which includes individual mentoring and professional advice by The Literary Consultancy.
